1on1 Give and Receive Pantry

First Lady Judy made certain our Give & Receive ministry was operational from the very beginning of 1on1 Church! The principle is simple: Donate the non-perishable food and personal items you can…take what you – or those you love – need. This is a ministry we can all participate in! In addition, if you would like to help sort and arrange pantry items, let us know! “Freely you have received; freely give.” – Jesus (Matthew 10:8)

Counseling

Do you have a knack for helping people with their finances? Or perhaps you have special skills in helping parents with their children or couples with their marriage relationship. Do you have a heart for those going through crises, grief and loss? If you have a thorough grounding in God’s Word and have the God-given gift to apply these principles in a helpful, encouraging way to your brothers’ and sisters’ daily lives, please arrange a time to sit down and talk with us!

Mailings

From time to time we send out cards or letters to invite people to special days. If you’d be willing to stuff, seal, stamp and mail envelopes for such occasions, we’ll add you to our call list, to see if you’re available to help. We also like to drop a welcome letter in the mail to those who visit 1on1 Church. If either off these sounds like something you would enjoy, please let us know!

Ushering

Our ushers do more than merely pass the offering plate on Sunday mornings! They help people find their seats, make guests feel welcome, arrange chairs, serve communion, help with room lighting during services, count attendance and troubleshoot whatever comes up. If you’re a people person with a helper’s heart, we’ve got a place for you!
